The Inspiration
- Acacia Tree = East Africa’s iconic tree, a wildlife safari habitat.
- The Animal’s foot = the journey of a wild animal
- The Road = the journey of the traveler
We take all three of these. Together, this is the origin of the “Safari Outdoor” logo.
ACACIA, Tree of life
Acacia (English: Acacia) is a genus of shrubs or trees belonging to the subfamily Mimosoideae of the legume family. It was first recorded in Africa by the Swedish biologist Carolus Linnaeus in 1950. . 1773 Usually a plant with thorns and pods.
The name comes from the Greek word “ακις” (akhis) which means pointed because it is a thorny plant of the Egyptian species Acacia nilotica (Acacia Nile).

There are 1,300 species of acacia worldwide, of which 960 are found in Australia. It is also in the warmer regions of both hemispheres, including Europe, Africa, South Asia and the Americas.
